About Hinkle & Hinkle Roofing

A family trade since the 1960s

Bob Hinkle started Hinkle Roofing in Red Bluff in the 1960s. His son Shannon followed him into the trade with Shannon Hinkle Roofing, and years later Shannon's son Cameron started Cameron Hinkle Roofing. Today the two businesses have joined as one company, Hinkle & Hinkle Roofing Inc, so customers get three generations of roofing know-how under one name.

We learned roofing in the Trinity mountains, where snow, wind and fire season are hard on a roof, and we have since worked in the valley heat as well.

How we work

Putting a roof on means more than getting in and out as fast as possible. Speed matters, but doing the job right matters more. We look at the whole roof system, tell you plainly what it needs and then build it carefully, with old-fashioned values and modern products and installation methods. Our installation is covered by a 4-year workmanship warranty.

What we do

Metal roofing, composition shingles, flat roofs and leak and roof repair for homes and cabins, plus some commercial work.

We are based at 2994 Lewiston Rd in Lewiston, CA and serve homes, cabins and businesses across Trinity County and Shasta County.
