Roof Repair and Leak Repair

A small leak is easier and cheaper to fix than a ruined ceiling. We repair leaking and damaged roofs for homes, cabins and small businesses in Trinity and Shasta counties, and we will tell you plainly whether a repair will do the job or the roof is at the end of its life.

Where leaks usually come from

• Worn, cracked or missing flashing around chimneys, vents, skylights and walls
• Broken or lifted shingles, or nails that have backed out
• Valleys and low spots where debris holds water
• Vent pipes and roof penetrations with failed seals
• Old roofing that has simply worn through

How we approach a repair

• We find the real source, not just the stain on the ceiling, because water often travels before it shows
• We fix what is actually wrong and explain it in plain words
• If the roof is too far gone to repair sensibly, we say so and show you the options for a new roof

Frequently asked questions

Do you do emergency repairs?

We focus on scheduled repairs and replacements and are not an emergency or after-hours service. If your roof is leaking, call us and we will get you on the schedule as soon as we can.

Can you fix a leak without replacing the whole roof?

Often, yes. A leak from failed flashing or a few damaged shingles can usually be repaired. If the roofing is worn out across the whole roof, repairs only buy a little time, and we will tell you that honestly.

How do I know if it is a repair or a replacement?

Our repair or replace guide lists the signs. Or request an estimate and we will look at it.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes in Lewiston, Weaverville, Douglas City and Junction City. In other areas, such as Hayfork, Trinity Center and Coffee Creek, we may charge for the cost of fuel. Fuel is expensive right now, and we would rather tell you up front. Ask us about your location.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, through the Joist app. Ask us for the link when you request your estimate.
